King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in the newly-developed town of Thuwul, Saudi Arabia, is an international, graduate-level research university dedicated to inspiring a new age of scientific achievement. As the first co-educational university in Saudi Arabia, KAUST is more than just architecturally groundbreaking, granting admission to both men and women from around the world based purely on merit.
KAUST was Saudi Arabia's first LEED certified project and is the world's largest LEED Platinum campus. Designed by international architecture firm HOK, it was also chosen by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) as one of the 2010 Top Ten Green Projects
The Gallery took an active part in the interior-furnishings of KAUST project by supplying and installing Window Coverings, and Academic Buildings Loose Furniture. The multi-million project was executed and commissioned within given deadline and was comprised of interior solutions from Hunter Douglas and Walter Knoll.
